Art can help us identify and express feelings. Naming emotions can help tame the emotions. For some, expressing through art is easier than talking, but can help increase the ability to talk about the emotions.


Draw a heart on a paper. Using different colors of paper, crayons/markers, and any other art supplies to create a representation of what the person is feeling. Share the feelings with the family.
